I would call you vet. I would think it would be different for each dog according to their weight. |

When I give Chloe Benadryl (and various other meds) I mix it with a little plain vanilla yogurt. This is also how I give her heart worm meds to her. I crush the chewable tablet up and mix it good. She "horks" it right down and never thinks twice. It is so much more pleasant when she takes the meds on her own and I'm not having to stuff it down her throat. -C |

Miley gets 4.0 ml and Max is 3.0 ml. So it is safer for u to get that from your vet. Good Luck !!! bark@ulater!!!!!!! manina, miley:aimeeyorkmax:aimeeyorksasha:aimeeyork |

so i think it's safe to use 1/2 the dosage. |

Dosages seem to vary by who's telling you, even between vets. I think I was told 2 ml per lb. then I found what appeared to be good information on the web that had a dose that was a range which was wide. I admit, when our Sophie was in heat, for the first time, I went against my better judgement for Charlies sake and gave him a dose hoping he would calm down for a while. He's all but quit eating so I was hand feeding him and had to put water in front of him to drink and almost lost his "bark". He sounded horrible but still did not give up. I know people that use it for road trips to calm their dogs and they say it works well (wrong, I know) I tried 2-3 ml per lb which should have calmed him but did nothing at all. He hated it worse than any other meds in the past. Even using a technique the Vet showed me, I almost couldn't get it down. I think they just don't like the stuff. After-all, it's for people and flavored for kids to like, not animals. I like the yogurt idea. |
