Bella and Baci Love Raw I bought my first bag of Natures Variety raw organic chicken medallions today and Bella and Baci both acted like it was the most yummy thing they had ever tasted! :D YAY! I really hope they continue to like eating it. I am really excited to have finally made the switch and hope this new diet will help keep them healthy. It would almost be too good to be true to have them both love the same food and it be a super healthy food at that. |
I got a bag today and I am going to start them on it in the morning..Hope they love it as much as your babies... |
breakfast was as much of a hit as last nights dinner :D Yay! I wish I'd made this switch a long time ago. can't wait to hear how your furbabies like it. |
Well Anakin lovessss the medallions but I am having a harder time with Padme..She licks them and thats it...She is still adjusting to our house so I am hoping she will come around..I cut one medallion in half..One for morning and one for evening..I still give them a small handful of their puppy food..I also found out they both love fresh green beans.. |
I'm glad it was a hit with Anakin. Hopefully- Padme will decide she loves it too with time. I'll have to try green beans and see if my two like them also... thanks for the tip :) |
Aw, that's exciting!! I remember how excited me AND the boys were when we started raw. :) |

Alfie loves the raw, wish we had those medalions over here, Rosie has been harder to switch but she ate her first full raw meal today and finished it all. Her mouth is really small and she just is too lazy to chew something for too long, so I cut hers up into chunks until her jaw muscles get stronger. |

Well the chicken wasn't a hit today. I am also having a hard time getting her to eat much of anything. I bought the puppy boost. The store told me to put some on her food and I also was told to rub some on her gums. I put some on her food this morning and it didn't seem to help. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I haven't had her a week and I know she is still getting adjusted, but I just worry about her. |

You could try sprinkling Parmesan cheese (the kind in the green jar) on the medallion - Parm is nice and pungent and can help w/ picky dogs sometimes. Another thing to try is sprinkling some low-salt chicken broth. :) |
