hiccups My puppy who will is 9 weeks old has the hiccups almost every day they are only for a couple minutes at the most but almost daily seems kind of excessive. Is this normal should i contact the vet about it or am i just being too overprotective? |

Mine gets the hiccups when he eats too fast, maybe your puppy is also eating too fast? I dont think there is anything wrong with that though, but if you want to be safe you can call your vet about it |
Mine do too. I've had yorkies my whole life and don't remember any of them ever having hiccups, but my two new babies get hiccups almost every day. They only last maybe a minute or two. I can't find the trigger, it'd definitely not eating or playing. They will get them when they are laying down taking a nap even. No clues. I just usually pat their tummies til they go away. |
Maverick had hiccups all the time when I got him (he was 7 months) for no apparent reason. He'd just bve sitting watching me blow dry my hair before work, I'd look down, and see him hiccuping. He gets them frequently in the mornings too, while we are doing the "scratch me for a few minutes before we get out of bed and face the day" thing. It's perfectly normal. |
Thanks yall! I was worried that it wasnt normal for him to get them that much im glad to hear its nothing to worry about! :D |
