Greenish runny nose...I'm worried Now Eva has a runny nose. It is crusting in her fur, just one nostril and slightly greenish. No cough or anything, and she seems normal. She has had it for a few days, today it was greenish in color. My concern is can it wait until Wednesday(she has a Vet appointment booked anyway). I am worrying again. First it was the heart murmur, then the Coccidia, then Giardia, now a runny nose. All in the past month! I really don't want her on antibiotics again. Can a puppy just get a runny nose like this and it clears up on its own? Sorry this was a bit of a rant... |
runny nose If it were my puppy, I would call the vet and see if I could bring her in tomorrow and cancel WEdnesdays appt. I think she should be seen right away. |

I agree. Green is not good. She probably has a respiratory infection. I'd want to make sure it didn't spread to her chest. |
Green in usually a sign of infection. She needs to be seen by your vet prior to Wednesday. Poor baby, sounds like she has been through a lot in the past month. :( |
Update on Eva Well I took Eva to the Vet and both her ears are infected so the Dr. figured the mucus in her nose could be from that. She is on ear drops and an oral antibiotic for the nose. She was such a good girl too! Thanks for your responses. |
