 I tried the peppermint oil
Ok, the peppermint oil was a great idea. I did try it but it seems to be only a short term solution.
I am just going through something at my house. I haven't had any real problems with fleas because I stay on top of them. If I find one I use Zodiac shampoo for dogs which works great by the way and then I Frontline them and I have no problems. I have lived here about a year. BUT all the sudden my baby is getting them non stop AND only one of them is getting the fleas. I mean I tried Capstar several days in a row and it didn't work. I did the peppermint oil but the problem is beyond that. I have flea dipped her several times and here is the kicker I don't have carpet. I have it in my bedrooms but the dogs don't go in there. I really wanted to stop using Frontline but I may break down and go get some. It is killing me to see my dog itching.

Also, the peppermint oil created a very nice sensation on my hands after I applied it. It was the same feeling as when you use tea tree oil on your scalp, like a menthol type feeling.
