Is interceptor okay to use? I am just wondering if any ones pet has had any trouble with using this heartworm med. It says they must weigh at least 2lbs. Daisy is 2.4lbs. So close to min. weight. This is what the vet gave me to give them. I have 3 yorkies and they seem fine taking it. Just curious. |
That is what I have my 2 babies on I have read here that it is better than Heartgard because it is for dogs 2-10 lbs. not 2-25lbs.I have my two bigger babies on Heartgard. |
I use Interceptor for my 2 babies and they do fine w/ it. :) |
I use Interceptor for Juicy and we havent had a problem. :) |
Interceptor actually has the least reactions reported out of all the heartworm meds. I love the fact that there is a small weight version of it as well. We've been using with no problem for two years.... |
We use interceptor - no probs here. |

We use interceptor on all of ours and it works just fine. |
I have used Interceptor for years and never a problem. Dudley is 2lbs.9oz. and he takes the 0 to 10 weight. He has never had a problem. |
Thanks everyone for your replies.:) |
