stinky breath so milenko is 6 months old and his breath is really bad i brush and brush and give him his doggie breath mints but that is not working ... any advice ? |
I buy doggy breath wash at my pet store, you add it to the water and it works great! Mary |
at 6 months old your puppy is still teething and that is probably what is causing the bad breath. Also if he has retained puppy teeth that could also be causing the stinky mouth. You can start brushing his teeth everyday to help cut back on the smell and keep his adult teeth clean but until the puppy teeth fall out or are pulled out you will still have that bad teething breath. |
I posted the same thing about miss muffie i mean it is bad so bad i thought it was the food every one told me it is because she has got her baby teeth and the adult teeth has came in to its like she has 2 sets of teeth but i no the smell is n a s t y she is 7 1/2 mts. :d |
ok ty |
If it is retained baby teeth, the smell will not go away until they are pulled Mary |
Lolita also has bad breath. We buy a spray at Petsmart called Pet Breath Spray and spray her mouth once in the morning. It completely takes care of the problem. |
Thanks im gonna try that :d |
It could be teething & maybe baby teeth not letting go. The bad breath from that can be overwhelming. Roxy still sometimes gets a milder bad breath since all her baby teeth are gone that tooth brushing doesn't take care of. I give her some ProBios from Drs Smith & Foster. It's a chewable probiotic. That seems to take care of it. I think her tummy gets upset at times from something she ate that was in the yard. |
Rosie is 5.5 months and having the same problem. Her little mouth is so sore at the moment because her molars are comming loose I'm having to encourage her to eat some days. Be glad when its all over. |
