Check the package. They used to be made in China, maybe still are. The FDA has issued repeated warnings about chicken jerky from China. You can Google it, but here is one article. FDA Continues To Receive Complaints About Chicken Jerky Products, Says American Veterinary Medical Association |
Konas is the way to go! Try Konas Chips! I was giving my furbutts these too until I read about how the ones made in China are possibly dangerous. My furbutts LOVE these!! And they have different types of chicken treats mixed with sweet potatoes and what not. There is also a thread I posted in about them with more detail! www.konaschips.com/ |
yes I was just reading about the china thing, but how many of our consumer product aren't made in China. it has no fillers, or antibiotics, meat by products etc. well, thanks |

Why would you even want to take the risk? Lacie's Site - Supporting and informing pet owners about the dangers of Chinese jerky treats |
You know you are right. I shouldn't take the risk. I've put extra time to research premium foods etc whatever it's best for my little one and it's not worth to take the risk for a treat. Thank you all |

You have to be very careful with the chicken jerky treats. I found one brand that said it was an american company on the package but after further researching it I found it was made in china. After all the dog food and treat scares I dont trust anything from china |
