My Baby Loves Scrambled Eggs I have been giving my 5 month old Yorkie a scrambled egg for breakfast. Is this o.k.?? |
it is ok but i prefer just egg whites only as less cholesterol |
That's fine! Jackson loves scrambled eggs too. :) Eggs are wonderful for them (& humans!) I usually mix in some scrambled eggs with Jackson's dry kibble sometimes whenever I eat them. |
Good! I also feed her oatmeal mixed with cottage cheese. She loooooves that too.:) |
Raw Eggs Bad, Cooked Eggs Good * Raw eggs should generally be avoided in the dog diet as they can cause in the body to be unable to absorb biotin resolution in skin and coat problems. Cooked eggs are an excellent source of protein and can be a great addition to the diet in small amounts. :chicken: I found the above info from a "Yorkie Secrets" website |
It's fine, but be aware that if the egg makes up too large a percentage of his diet, you'll need to use vitamin supplements. |

Hello, I use the instant oatmeal. I put 2/3 cup of water in a measuring cup in the microwave for 45 seconds and then pour (some) of it on the oatmeal to moisten it. You can make it as runny or thick as you like. I usually leave it on the thick side to make it easier for her to eat. After the oatmeal has cooled I put half of it in her bowl and mix with a tablespoon of cottage cheese. She loves it. I usually feed it to her in the morning. She gets her regular dog food in the evening.:animal36 |
:D i have not tried this yet but am going to oatmeal and eggs i hope she likes it |
