Tobie ate eyeliner
 
Tobie just chewed up my eyeliner and I was just wondering if it is harmful for dogs, I am not sure if he ate it but the pencil was all chewed up into little pieces. Any advice would be great. Thanks

I this point the best thing to do would be to keep an eye on him. If if start looking sick you will be there to take him to the vet right away.

But he probably didn't eat much of it and should be ok.

He probably chewed it up and didn't swallow much. I would just watch him but he should be fine.

Hey Channing, how is Mr. Tobie? He probably chewed it and didnt eat the much. Sam chewed a highlighter the other day:eek:

Apple ate a maybelline eyebrow pencil/liner, when she was about 3 or 4 months old, and she did o.k...I called the poison control center, and they said it wasn't poison...The only thing they said I needed to watch for was to be sure that her bowels were still moving, and not clogged up...I actually saw little pieces of the red wood in her stools for a couple of stools...The vet said to give her a 1/4 tsp. of metamucil mixed up w/boiled chicken/rice to bind everything up...I did that for a couple of days, and all was well...Only thing was that she didn't want to go back to regular puppy chow for a day or two, but we managed :rolleyes:

These are some crazy little monsters we have. I didn't have this much trouble raising my children as I do these little boggers. We reaseach to buy the best quality food.(I didn't research at all for the kids haha) and the eat crap. Gotta love em!! Why? Why? Why? They have a ton of toys and things but no they have to get into the thongs they can't have. They constantly eat my son's pokemon guys. He gets so mad. They know when they have something they aren't supposed to also. They just sneak!! I say,"what do you have?" and they can't spit it out fast enough as if to say, "I have nothing"

Your baby should be fine. Just keep an eye on him

:D So true! I remember I had to go away for a work trip when Maddie was just a few weeks home. My husband assured me theyd be fine. Well, day two of my three day trip, he called to say Maddie had gotten a book of matches off the table I used to light candles and ate them. We had no idea how many or anything. We both freaked out for days, calling the vet, examining poop, listening to tummy. He even missed a day of work so he could stay with her until I got home. She was fine...

Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to everyone thanks so much for the concern. He is fine pooped it all out. Now he is back to being the little monster that he is. I thought he was chewing on his flossie and when I got up I saw his hair on his paw were blue and the white carpet had blue all in it!! Its a good thing they are soo cute!

I am glad that Tobie is ok!!! I know its hard to get onto them bc they are so cute!

oh dear! i hope he is alright! I'm sure he is fine, keep me posted girlie! fifi gives him loves!
