Mab's spay-advice welcomed Hello again! :) Today has been a big day for my little fairy, as I had her spayed. She is home now, the doctor said everything went well and now she's trying to get some sleep. I felt my heart breaking apart when I saw her coming out from the surgery, but I guess that's normal because I love her very much :d The thing is, the doctor suggested that she should relax the next days, without any running nor jumping, but my little one is very energic, she has been like this since she was 1 month, and I am quite nervous about the next days/week...Can somebody around here help me and give me some advice on how to keep her away from jumping up and down from the bed, sofas, etc. ? Thanks. |
I can tell you what I did to keep mine from jumping all over. Unless I was holding her, or walking her on her lead I had her in her ex-pen. I had to make a make shift top for it to prevent her from jumping up and down in it but it did the job. Couldn't wait till she was healed enough to get back to normal. |
I kept Gizmo in my lap as much as possible after the neuter. Family members traded off staying close to him. We had sort of a tag team. I also confined him if I had to, but I put the pen close to me and put a comfy bed in it for him along with a bully stick. |
