Fromm dog food Does anyone here feed their dog Fromm brand dog food or know anything about it? |
I do'nt know anything about the food, but I know it is rated at 5 or 6 (?) stars on dogfoodanalysis.com. I'm interested to learn more about it, too. Welcome to YT! |
Pasquale's groomer gave me a sample of Fromm's dog food...he loved it. The only thing that i questioned is that under ingredients it says it contains chicken cartilage. I tend to stay away from anything that has chicken in it for allergy purposes. |
Hi. I started feeding Angel Fromm a few weeks ago after he started itching really badly. The vet said it might be food allergies so we decided to try switching his dry food from nature's variety prarie chicken formula to the fromm white fish and potato formula. He is itching much less and he likes the taste of Fromm. So hopefully he continues to eat this becuase it is supposed to be one of the better quality dry foods. I would give it a try. |
Fromm's Chicken a`la Veg Dog Food Hi there ! I have a 6 month old Yorkie puppy (Bailey) and a 4 year old Mastiff / Rottie (Bella). I just switched the big girl to Fromm's Chicken a la Veg and she loves it ! Then Bailey (the Yorkie) decided that he likes it too !! LOL So I mix Wellness Puppy with the Fromm's for him. I'm going to switch him to the Fromm's eventually anyway and it's very good food ! Seems to be working out just fine :) Best of luck ! |
As another poster mentioned, I think the addition of the chicken cartilage is an interesting thing. I believe its their natural way of adding in glucosamine instead of using some kind of synthesized product. Its been a while since I looked that up though. Personally, I feed Fromm (their surf and turf because its grain free.) Winston loves it and all his digestive issues are gone, since he has issues with grains. We had some issues with the other grain free options around us like natural balance. I like Fromm's dedication to high quality ingredients (and they have never effected by the dog food recall like some of the other holistic companies.) Fromm's is one of the few dog foods I've opened that actually smells appetizing to me too. (Maybe I am just crazy that way!) To my knowledge none of their foods are organic though, if that's a concern for you. |
