Yogurt? Yes or No? Have any of you givin yogurt to your puppies? I have been reading and it appears to be good for them to have in there diet! Have any of you tried it? Yes:thumbup: or:thumbdownNO |
oh yes! They love it. :) I usually use it as a topper to help make their food taste better. BUT...NO NO NO artificial flavor or sweetners! The sweeteners can be deadly to them. I just use the natural, organic kind. :) |
I make my own yogurt with a Salton "incubator". Its EASY, CHEAP and very very TASTY! :D |
Apple loves yogurt, and I used to give her a tablespoon every morning, when I had it, but I stopped, because I was concerned about the natural sugar that occurs in milk products, and her teeth...However, the best advice you can get on the planet, regarding this is about NOT using anything w/artificial sugar!!!! That can be lethal!!! Only plain, natural, and possibly organic, if you can get it, and read the labels, for sure.... |
I've seen tons of YTers rave about yogurt treats! (I even bought a pack of yogurt drops to give Zoë. Right around when I bought them we came to find she's lactose intolerant. So now I'm too worried to give her any!) But this seems like a great thread to get the info you want! :) |
goat yogurt is suppose to be best for them some dogs are lactose intolerant and get diarhea so depends on the dog i use non-dairy probiotics dds plus from the vitamin shop as this is good for allergy dogs |
 definitely yes. remy gets some every day. i only use greek yogurt which does not have all of the sugar that "american" yogurt has |

another ???? I am new to all this so I went looking for organic yogurt. This is what I was able to find, keep in mind I am very limited as to what is available in my area. I found Yo Baby, organic, banana, vanilla, or strawberry. Do you think this would work? Some of you talked about yogurt treats, are they for dogs or the kid type? Thanks for all your help! |
Walmart sells Stoneyfield plain fat-free yogurt (in the big tub). My two get some every afternoon & they love it better than anything. |
