Having trouble getting your baby to eat pumpkin?
 
Try this! I was tired opening a can, using only a teaspoon or so and throwing away the rest. Soooo, I tried this: I dropped by spoonfuls on a cookie sheet, put in the freezer till frozen, then put in a ziploc. The little monsters love frozen pumpkin! I use them for tummy aches, but for treats also. I just cut it into small pieces, and they love it! Best of all, nothing wasted! :p Anything to make my babies happy! :D

I like to mix canned pumpkin with canned dog food and add it to their kibble with a little warm water to make a gravy. You would think I was feeding them a 5 star gourmet dinner. :)

I will definitely try this! I can never get Laya to eat pumpkin and I know it's good for her.

I gave it to Zoeybear when she was constipated and she loved it, but it is a large can and went to waste. This is a great idea!!

You are brilliant! Mine love to eat it, but I hate throwing away the can each time! What a great idea. We'll be freezing pumpkin the next time we need to open a can.

Ok, this is a strange question I know. Why do you give them pumpkin? Is it good for them, or just when they need to go potty and can't?

its great for regulating bm's weather your baby is constipated or has the runs.

I'll be buying some pumpkin and storing it also, thanks for the idea, jd just decides not to eat when he has potty issues. Will be great if it settles his little body. I worry when he doesn't eat for two days!!

I did the same thing (froze small pieces), but then I wasn't sure when to give it to her and never did. Now I have frozen pumpkin that is over a year old. How long will it last in the freezer, and is it something that you could just give every other day or so just to keep her regular. She never gets constipated but does get the runs quite often.

To be safe, I'd throw it out and start again. A year seems a little old. I'd give it a try the next time she gets the runs. Good luck!
