Question about LP Ok- Layla HATES going for walks- honestly hates it- But i've been reading some Casear lately and agree that walks are good for a) health b) tire her out c) bonding d) show I am in charge. So off we go every morning and evening- as long as it isn't too hot. Well she drags her feet and i literally pull her- not far- i usually end up picking her up and walking for a bit- put her back down and usually she will give in and walk- but tonight when we were wakling i put her down for the second time and this time she dug her feet in again- and when she let up she was kinda limping on her back leg (both of whcih have LP)- is this digging in with her back legs bad for her knees? It's like a catch 22- we walk which keeps the weight off and her LP good- but we walk and she digs in which makes her limp..... |
Bump....I don't know the answer to the "digging in", so just bumping this for you...:) |
Not sure. That's a new one for me too but I imagine if she locks her knees just right to stop herself, it isn't too healthy for them. Does she just not like to walk or does she dig in because of the LP? |
