Omg..losing his teeth! I just found out that my puppy will lose his teeth..the lady that is selling him just wrote me that:eek: This is normal? |
:wavey::wavey::wavey::wavey: Well if it's his baby teeth it is. When they are puppies it's best if they come out on their own, because if not they have to go in and take them out.:2hearts2: |

Thanks, good to know! I will start brushing his teeth as soon as he arrives, I wouldn't want dental problems..I am so nervous about doing what is right for the puppy, I'm driving myself nuts!:tongue2: |
How old is he ? |

He was born April 12th..just a baby :) |
Baxter spit 3 of his out in my hand. Not at one time but it still freaked me out every time he did it. He only had to have one removed by the vet. Good luck with the puppy. |
My 17 wk old puppy lost 3 teeth in one night. Is it normal for them to loose teeth so quickly? Another concern of mine after reading this thread is that since he was from a shelter he was nuetered a little early so he could be adopted but he still has all baby teeth (other than the 3 teeth that are just now coming in). Should I try to wait it out a bit or call the vet? |

Thanks I have really enjoyed him so far. . . just wish he'd take to the leash a little quicker. Thank you for the info as well. I'm not extremely worried about losing teeth. . . just wanted to make sure it was normal. I've never raised a dog from puppy stages so it is all new to me. |
Just buy him a little baby tooth brush and remember not to use human toothpaste. lol!!!!!! Good luck. Mine hate having their teeth brushed. They even hate having their hair brushed. ugh!! |
