I'm lonely without my baby I took Starsky in today to get him neutered. He did great with the surgery and all, but now I keep thinking of him at the vet's spending the night in a cage all alone and not at not by my feet. I worry about him being in pain and not having his momma there to comfort him. :girl_hug: I know it was probably best to leave him there, (this vet's policy is to keep them overnight). The house seems so quiet. I keep catching myself looking at my feet when I get off the couch making sure he isn't there to step on. My other dog :animal-sm (beagle) Haggis seems sad too. Even though Starsky picks and picks on him, I think he really misses him. I hope he is eating okay, he had 2 teeth pulled also. I have to work tomorrow and can't get him until after lunch. I want to be home to watch him and I don't get off work until 12:00. :clock: I hope he returns to his silly, wild self soon. :animal37 I love you and miss you Starsky  :getwellso  |
I'm sure you miss him terribly, but he's probably sedated a bit and sleeping like a baby. Just about 12 hours and you can hold him and comfort him again. ;) |
The time will pass and soon you will have him home and you can spoil him!! |

I'm right there with you Mollie had to stay at the vet's last night it is an emergency clinic after hours. Took her in yesterday for a routine tooth extraction. She still has her puppy canines. She started bleeding a little over the weekend, her puppies are 7 weeks old. Well the vet say she is 99% sure that it's pyometria(sp). So she is being spayed this morning and hopefully I will be able to pick her up late this afternoon. She's normally very good about sending them home the same day if they are ready. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Keep us posted on how he's doing. I'm sure he will be fine. |
Home before you know it! Starsky will be home before you know it!! I am surprised that he has to stay the night. My vet only has females stay over due the procedure being more intrusive. They also have a Vet Asst (Tech) stay there whenever surgical procedures are done that montior the animals. Feel better soon Starsky! |
