Nutra Cal :rolleyes:Hello everyone! I am new to this thread - I will be bringing my little yorkie gome this Friday and I'm sooooo excited! I keep seeing information about Nutracal - I'm wondering what this is; and is it really neceassary to give to a yorkie? I'm just curious on your thoughts :) Thanks! |
It is a a supplment given to small breed puppies.Puppies blood sugar can drop very easily because they have difficulty regulating their glucose levels . A new move ,enviroment, overactivity and stress can all be factors. Its best to have it on hand and give it every few hours as a preventive measure. |
It is a nutritional suppliment with sugar in it. I never gave it as a preventative because My vet said it wasnt necessry. I always have it on hand though |
It is a supplement with sugar and other nutrients in it. It should NEVER be given unless your puppy is not eating or is having symptoms of low sugar. Given as a preventive or routinely every few hours can possibly put your pup into Diabetes. it is good to keep it on hand tho. |
Okay! Thanks guys, I'll make sure to just have it handy.;) |
