CedarCide users - Any results yet? Those of you who were trying CedarCide natural flea/tick repellent - how did it work? Many of us are interested in hearing if it's effective. Please give us an update. Thanks! |
Cedarcide Amanda7, I did a seach for recent posts about Cedarcide. There have been several posts, I have not seen anyone responding whether it worked or not on their pooch. I know it works real fast on the insects and ants that move around my house in FL, but I to use a natural soap with Neem in it as a repellent. The Cedarcide maybe a little too strong aromatically speaking for my kids and if you have been to their website, the product is not exactly cheap. |
You got that right. Its not cheap. The shipping was high, but I ordered it anyway. It is pretty strong smelling, I am hesitant to use it. Also, I asked my vet about it and she didn't recommend it because it has a good amount of cedar oil. Not good for dogs to digest. It is different with shampoos because the ingredient it way down on the list. I don't think I am going to put it on them. I ordered coconut oil and using Minksheen and Botanical shampoo for ticks and fleas. Seems to do the trick. They don't go out very often so what I am using is sufficient. We are going to use the cedar cide for ourself. It is good on chiggers. |
Thank you both for your input. I haven't bought CedarCide yet. I was waiting to hear if it actually worked. If it's that strong, and the vet doesn't recommend it, that's all I need to know. It looks like I'll be looking for another alternative. |
