Please Please Help Ok so mt yorkie is 12 weeks old this Thrusday I have had her from 7 weeks old. I have a few problems first of all she is not eating as much as I would like her too, she dosent eat her breakfast very little lunch and dosent eat much dinner, I feed her some dried food at night by hand which she will take but again not very much, she is only pooping on average 2-3 times a day (is this normal). She is very lively and has a wet nose and is still very alert, she is due to get her second injection next week so I will be saying to the vet but I need advice asap, I am at my wits end and keep worrying that she will starve to death or something. My next problem is toilet training, 50% of the time she will go outside first thing in the morning but its hit and miss, I take her out several times a day and she will not go at all and when I bring her in she goes inside everywhere and anyway, I am being stern with her but it dosent seem to be working, she has my heart broke, I was thinking of trying crate training but Im unsure how successful this will be as I am out working and my mother dosent bloody listen to my ideas, every one seems to be going against my training of the pup and they arnt giving her a chance. please any advice whould be great |
yorkies dont eat very much even when they are older. i have two and they are just nibblers. when i give them wet food, i mix canned peas in with it and they eat it all. goo luck. terryy |
It is hard to say.Was she eating better before?or has it always been this way? Like TerryY said, they don't eat much.I always keep his bowl with food, he eats in the morning and at night( like you, hand feed), but he can nibble if he wants to during the day. Is your baby gaining weight? Is she growing and acting healthy?I don't think you have anything to worry about, but to be on the save side I would mention it to your vet. |
