I give it to coco every other day..just for a fun treat. I feeze it and give it to her like ice cream. She never eats tooooo much so I don't worry about it.

Its not bad for them. A member on here suggested freezing it for a treat for them.

oh you guys are the best ... i bought some sunday on my grocery run and i wants sure i looked at my yorkie book and NADA.. so i was like hmmmmmmm i should ask my YT experts LMAO

You know what,,,,,, I hate applesauce. And never even thought of getting Gus some. He loves apples. If it is good for them I think I will go out and get him some. I do that all the time. I don't like something so I don't buy it. The kids get upset with me becasue I don't get them thier stuff when I go to the store. I tell them I'm not a mind reader and if they run out of something they have to tell me because I wont buy it if it's something I don't like.

but i can understand where you're coming from.. ;)

The yogurt is good too....I buy the dannon plain non-fat for him (I hate yogurt)..and mix some veggies or fruit in there and Maximus loves it..you can also freeze it..this is my new getaway device in the mornings..lol

LOL you think thats bad? I am so picky, I WILL NOT buy pickles because I hate the smell. My kids love them. Even if they ask, I won't buy them. And if they do happen to come home with a pickle they have to eat it outside and when they finish,,, they have to come in and wash thier hands and brush thier teeth.

LOL....I am with you..I don't eat any type of seafood, lamb, or veal so it is not in my house nor will I cook it. It completely skeeves me and I can't imagine my utensils going anywhere near those things...I make myself almost throw up at the thought!!

As a matter of fact, today I spoke with my vet during Genie's appt. and we got to talking about certain foods that should be given to our furbabies as treats . The vet mentioned fruits and some vegetables, like raw carrots, cantaloupes, apples, pears, peaches and some others. Also, to give small amounts because if too much is given it could cause wet stools.

thanks Edi we got seal of approval from a vet :) .. i figured since apples are ok .. y not applesauce.... i looked at the ingredients and they seemed safe... it also contained corn syrup which i thought was ok since we give that to em for their hypoglicemia .. :)

Completely.......I am sooo picky that it is actually the cause of 90% of my arguments with my bf!!..I have thrown up before at a restaurant when they messed up and mixed shrimp in with my pasta and I had a forkful of it in my mouth..GROSS!!!
