My baby had a tick on her!!! Hi, I'm in NJ and my baby hardly goes outside to my backyard. if I take her, she won't be there more than 10 minutes and, today my boyfriend found a tick on her! I have no idea what to do. |
Heres an instructional for you. Its gross but you can do it. How to remove a tick BTW..I use Revolution on my dogs and they never get them anymore. Good luck. Let us know how you do. |
My boyfriend already had removed it, well he actually pulled it. I have the minksheen shampoo since yesterday but I haven't used it on her. I will give her a bath today cuz they say it repels bugs, ticks and fleas |
Be careful pulling them out, it can leave the claws in and create an abcess I watched the video and that is a new method to me, very impressed I usually put strong disinfectant on the body of the tick and they drop out and die |
If you have some tea tree oil, my MIL says just pop some on cotton wool and hold it on the tick and they fall out. Circle thing is pretty cool, though! Just I don't think I would be that brave... |
Thanks coolbar. I wasn't home so my boyfriend just pulled the tick out. It left a little red bump. it looks like dry blood. what should put on it? |
I personally would dab it clean with some peroxide on a swab or cotton ball. |
