Amount That a 10 Week-old Eats? I'm just checking to make sure that my puppy is eating enough. He weighs 1 and a half pounds. I give him 1/8 of a cup of dry food 3 times a day and he doesn't come anywhere near eating it all. Is that enough food? I keep telling myself that his stomach has to be tiny so he can't hold much food, but I just wanted to make sure that's normal. He doesn't ever act like he's hungry and he's not getting anything between meals, just a couple of Cheerios now and then as a treat when he uses the potty pad. |
they don't eat much at all- so sounds good to me- as long as his gums are pink and he has energy- peeing and pooping normal- sounds good :D |
Everyone is different. I don't measure their food. I leave some out for them all day. I take it up at night. I have 2 13wk. old and 1 11 wk. old. Since they are small I let them eat when they are hunger so there sugar doesn't drop because they play hard chasing each other and burn alot of energy off. |
Thanks! Yes, he seems normal. Pees quite often during the day. Not much at a time; maybe a teaspoon or so, but several times a day. Usually has a bowel movement twice a day. |
