My Jewels was 12 oz at 8 weeks and can you believe she is 6 lbs now. I just made sure she was eating quality foods often{dry and canned} If she had an off day I also gave her nutrical. Small doesnt always mean unhealthy and as you can see by my Jewels it doesnt necessarily mean they will be a super small adult |
I have a 1.2 oz. female yorkie that is 13 wks. The litter also had the smallest one to not make it. So she was the smallest now. I also have 2 other male yorkie pups. 2.4oz. and 2.8 oz. the female is the dominant one. She lets them know real fast she is boss. She is very healthy. I make sure she eats enough for the day. The morning time is the hardest because she don't want to eat. I play a game of tossing dry food on floor and they eat it because they think the other one is going to get it. The rest of the day they eat good. I have them spoiled at night. I will give them boiled chicken livers, boiled chicken and 100% turkey. I don't give them anything that contains alot of fat. I love them all but she is my baby. I believe your little baby will do just fine with tlc. |
