short snout therefore small sharp teeth? ok, so i noticed my new fur baby has some really sharp and tiny teeth. he's 12 weeks old and weighs about 2.5 lbs. his teeth are really small and un-noticeable unless you stare really close...or get ur hand and feet nipped by him. is this normal? my older yorkie, who is much bigger (12 lbs) and 10 months, never had teeth this tiny when he was his age. my older yorkie has nice white, big teeth. my new fur baby has a shorter snout and rounder features. just wondering if anyone out there has seen this in their babies and if anyone knows if the teeth will get bigger as they get older. |
The adult teeth arent as sharp and piercing as the baby teeth |
Yes , its normal . My Darius have very small teeth too . He is 12 weeks old and weight 1 lb 9 on . |
Puppy teeth can be very sharp, but I don't think there is a relationship between a shorter snout and sharper teeth. A smaller tooth may seem sharper because the tip is tinier. Don't worry the adult teeth will be much better, and maybe some chew sticks will help to round off those points. :D |
Thanks for the info guys! Just wanted to make sure. |
