Salmon Oil I'm not sure if the Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil is working but Johnny had allergy tests 3 weeks ago and got a steroid shot then and is not over-the-top itching and scratching right now. Usually, he beings itching about 10 days after a shot which is when I start oral steroids. In a trial-and-error of many medications, both traditional and holistic, nothing but steroids have helped so we did allergy testing and ordered the serum. Now, I'm wondering if 2 months of giving Salmon Oil has helped??? I sure hope so. |

Thank you for a very informative article. It confirms most of what I've learned from my research. |
they say and my vet has if the steriods help they are allergic to something in the enviroment. I use laundry soap with perfumes and dyes as well as dryer sheets, since he sleeps with me, and use salmon oil as well, it has helped chester. Also look up apple cider vinegar for dogs, I have used it with water and rinsed him off, it does help. I never did do the allergy testing because it is so exspensive, and I manage his itches fairly well, with his temaril p prednisone and benadyrl. long term steriods is not good unless it is a have too, especially when they are really itchy. Have you used benadyrl as well. |
