Have you had problems with solid gold, chester has been on it for most of his life, I have called them and they called back very promptly, of course that was before all of this recall stuff had gone on. |
This is off of wikipedia, I sure didn't know it was made at the diamond pet food processing plant Today the company specializes in the development of foods which contain no preservatives or saturated fats, and are made of USDA Choice meats, and grains like rice, barley, oats and millet, instead of wheat, soy, or corn like most other manufacturers. They also have a line of skin treatments and shampoos. Solid Gold Dry dog foods are made at the Diamond Pet Foods processing plant. |
I feed mine Solid Gold and Innova. The thing that impressed me about this company, is that they voluntarily recalled their product without having the FDA find out first, like happens so many times with human- food recalls. I mean just look at that peanut recall several months ago. There were letters published from the president of the peanut company stating that he knew of the contamination, and that he stressed to just go ahead and sell the products. Now that is scary!:thumbdown |

you might want to ask where their INGREDIENTS come from- it's all great that they make the dog food in the USA but where are the they the stuff they put in the food. Not to say it's not all from the US but that might be the guys way of scooting around that issue by telling you they make the dog food in the USA. |
