sick yorkies- stomach problems I am desperate to get answers to the gastro problems that both my babies have. I also have been to vets- had every test- changed foods numerious times- with no apparent help. Mine have not only the throwing-up but also bloody stools a lot of times- sometimes justs very loose stool. They have both been on iv's more times than i can count. I now take them at first symptom- they get a shot of cerinea- that does the trick most of the time. Sometimes with a shot of antibotic. They can keep nothing down, so oral meds are of little use. Any more suggestions? |
Welcome to YT. :) Can you list all of the tests they have had? Have they had a Spec cPL, TLI with vitamin b12 and folate, blood panels, etc? Are there plans to go to biopsy? What drugs have been tried? Tylosin, Metronidazole, Prednizone? |
Between commercial pet foods and treats, over inoculating, over medicated, and chemicles put on them to kill insects, the little animals have a depressed immune system, so they get sick, the Vets (who love to push their own pet food and medications) suggest a different pet food, then different medication, untill the pet is dead. It's a vicious cycle that needs to stop. Pet food is made from dead diseased farm, lab and pet animals. Some of the diseases and medication that go into these animals cannot be boiled out in the boiling vats. This mess goes right back into other animals who then become sick, get more medications, and eventually die, they go into the vats, and over and over. Can you see just how pet food is becoming more toxic. Please, get the books by Ann N. Martin who has had the pet food industry in and out of court for years. Her first book is FOOD PETS DIE FOR, and her second book is MORE SHOCKING FACTS. |
In addition to what Crystal has asked, are they from the same breeder? Knowing that might give clues as to whether this is genetic, or some strange contagious issue. |

Have you tried homecooking? Perhaps starting with simple boiled chicken and rice. Then moving forward from there. It's worth a try if you haven't done so already. |
