I bought some stoneyfield yobaby yogurt - vanilla and banana because that's all there was and I felt like eating something sweet, but I had also remembered this thread and wanted to share with Max. Is it okay if it's vanilla and yobaby yogurt?

I have never fed Bella yogurt.. how do you guys feed it to them? As a treat? In a bowl? lol. sorry Im not much of a yogurt person, but i'd like to start!!!:)

This homemade yogurt will be lighter, airy, and less dense than store bought yogurt. Skim milk will not work. Whole Vitamin D makes the best yogurt. We use 2% for a good medium.

I feed with a spoon and still have to wipe her lower lip/chin hairs afterwards. A bowl would be too messy and I don't even give that much. :)

Thanks for the yogurt recipe, I definitely will have to try it. We are super- huge yogurt eaters here.:thumbup:

The main reason you don't want to give your dogs yogurt with high fructose corn syrup is not because of the corn, but high fructose corn syrup is another word for sugar. Your dogs don't need to eat all that sugar. You also don't want to give them anything with artificial sweeteners.

anyone tried Greek style yogurt? I buy this for me but I had never thought to give it to Grace.

Depends on the ingredients, but most Greek style yogurts are much higher in fat that American yogurts.
