I went to the store yesterday and got salmon oil. today i notice red spots and her ears are really read .also one of her ear smells . can this be ear infection? and what can i put directly on her skin? thank u 4 your help |
It could be many things, I'd get her in asap before something gets out of control. Could be yeast, bacterial ear infection, food allergy, mites. I'd make an appt asap! :) |

I will say though, some undiagnosed skin issues can be a disaster if left untreated. Some skin issues can go "internal" too, such as yeast - which can become systemic. If it is one of the more serious skin issues, it could cost wayyyyy more later, if you wait - and it could also affect his immune system. Maybe that would help your husband understand that he should be seen now? It might also help if you start a new thread, explain in great detail what is going on w/ your pup, and outline his exact diet - and maybe some of us can help in the meantime. :) |
hanna`s update I went to the store and i got the aveeno power bath , and i put her in there for 5 minutes. her sking felt muuuuch beter and no more itch. the only part i could not put the aveeno was the ears and she could not sleep last nigth she scratch does ears like crazy , they were really red . so I just hold her all nigth. today she is going to the vet.But i think i know what happen I got this puppy treats and it says all natural but i forgot to check the ingredients, when i check it this morning it have corn and soy, and she is allergic to corn. :thumbdown. i hope she will be fine.. |
