yes, I would believe in that, otherwise I really don't understand the concept.
Layla is about the same age as Dolly;) how do you prepare Layla's food? I bought one of the Beaba babycook steamer and grinder last month, to homecook for my 4 month old rather than buying commercial baby food, and its so easy Im thinking about using it to cook for Dolly as well:p | well i used a nutritionist- which i highly recommend when you are going to start home cooking to make sure you get the K/cals correct as well as the cal/phos ratio and other important vitamins. I used Susan Davis- many people on here have used her and only speak the best of her- she is amazing- Holistic Veterinarian Pet Nutritionist Holistic Pet Care
Layla gets 3 oz of either turkey or fish- we are just starting to bring in Bison, Vennison and Rabbit.
She gets 1/3 c of a green veggie- steamed and then i have to food process the crap out of it or she will pcik out the pieces and not eat them
then 1/3 c of either pumpkin, sweet potato or potato. She doesn't usually eat that much a day but that's the max that she will eat. Susan calucated it out for her weight and the number of K/Cals she needs a day.
She gets a supplement for her pancrease, she gets a probiotic formulated for dogs- a calcium supplement formulated for home cooking and a multivitamin.
Hope that helps :D |
