Double Teeth Has anyone who's puppy's adult teeth comes out but baby teeth didn't fall out? What happens? Do I have to get dentistry done on that? |
Yup. Pasquale has two on the bottom like that. He looks so funny. He's getting neutered on Friday so they will be extracting his extra teeth then. I didnt want to put him under anesthesia twice. |
I am not sure how old your baby is but sometimes the baby teeth can be loose even though they have not fallen out. My first suggestion would be to get him/her something hard to chew on like a bully stick - it might work them out. If they do not come out you will need to get them extracted by your dentist. They will be put under for this procedure. My vet charges about $6/tooth plus anesthesia. It is important to have them pulled because Yorkies are prone to teeth and gum problems and food will get stuck down between the teeth causing decay. Hope this helps! |
1 Attachment(s) Yeah, Juicy had that same problem but when I got her fixed and micro chipped they pulled them out. If you look closely you can see it in the picture below. |
Yes Casey had a full row of upper teeth... it looked pretty scary!! She kind of looked like a gremlin lol...Our vet told us not to worry about it.... it is normal, and when we had her spayed they took them out.... she done quite well. |
