one of my guys is eating a rubber plant! We just noticed that one or both have been nibbling, now a signifcant portion of the lower leaves are missing with little naw marks:eek: Neither one of them shows any symptoms of being sick after the nibbling, and they apparently have been at it for some time. I like the rubber plants and dont want to get rid of them, but if its them or the silly yorkies the plants obviously have to go. I can spray some bitter dog repellent on the leaves, but should we worry about long term health or the overarching reason for their eating the rubber trees? |

Roxie chews on my rubber tree plant when a leave falls off. SHe doesn't reaally eat them, just tear them up. So I haven't had any issues with her and them. |

I did find this link http://www.doberdogs.com/Toxic.html I searched for rubber plant and found nothing, so hopefully there is no problem. I did spray the doggy repellent - which also is not very pleasant for people.:D |
