isabella wont eat for the past week isabella hasnt been eating much. (even less than usual) she isnt acting lethargic just doesnt wanna eat. she seems to have lost about a pound and a half (she was 9 lbs.) could it be she doesnt like her food? btw, do u have any suggestions on what food is the best?? |
If she had been eating okay all along and has now stopped and lost over 1/10 of her body weight, you might want to go to the vet. Canned food should entice her to eat. |
I agree with Ellie May on that too. You can also try canned baby food, or even cooking up some hamburger meat and white rice. I would def. call the vet though. |
Same problem with Rex... I'm also having the same problem with Rex only that he does eat but only once.... We give him Science Diet ( i've heard it's not the best)...What would you recommand we do? His hyper and all but only will eat once a day. |
I would definitely check with the vet. We recently lost one of our babies and our little girl would not eat her regular food, so I made sure she got her favorites, yogurt, lamb, and rice. (Not mixed , I am not sure how the lamb and yogurt would go over) |
my puppy has not been eating either...do you think hes sick of his food, I tryed two different kinds ,same brand, and he still doesnt? |
I'm happy to report... that Rex is eatting three times a day now. What i did was mixed his regular food with boiled chicken breast. He loves it now...i guess he was just tired of the same Science diet food. :) |
I am having the same problem. Snick is fine for a week with food and then will start denying anything we put in front of him. It's driving me nutts. We had him on NB duck/potato & NB Venison/Spotato for a good week dry, then he refused, so we added canned mixed in for the last week, now he is refusing that and the dry. It's so stressful!! I wish this was easier. I am almost tempted to go and buy something cheaper, but never would. UGH!!!! |
