Cosequin - Which One and Where To Buy? Tatum is now out of her GlycoFlex and I want to order some Cosequin today. If I'm not mistaken though, there are several different kinds of it. Which one do you all use for your babies? The exact name would be very helpful as I am new to this stuff and I am still pretty clueless :p Also, where is the cheapest place to buy it online? I am going to search around myself, but I always of course ask my Yorkie friends first ;) Thanks in advance! |
I am getting the Capsules for Brownie & not using the Caseing. The capsules are the Only one's without Liver & beef flavor. |

Question Thank you both SO much! I am going to go with the capsules. One question - I found them online here (the 90 count): Cosequin Capsules - Allivet Trusted Pet Pharmacy for $29.99 - these are the right ones, correct? I'm almost positive they are but I just want to make sure first before I order them :) |

hmm i saw this at petco today and i was curious because i don't know exactly what its for... is this safe for all yorkies? like is it something we should be giving our babies or is it like a vet recommended thing for certain dogs? |
Cosequin is a supplement containing glucosamine used to help with arthritis and joint problems. Since yorkies often develop luxating patellas, a lot of owners will give this to help with pain and mobility. Others give it sort of as a preventitive - to help in case a joint problem develops later. It's an amazing product. |
Is it available at pet stores? Pam |

I know Petsmart carries it. Most feed stores do, too. |
