Just make sure you give it some time okay. He will have to get used to a bathe or shower, whatever you do. My boy just stands at the end of the shower and I have to move him into the stream of water as I bathe him. Sometimes when I rinse him I will pick him and hold him close and rinse him like I was holding a baby. This can make them feel secure specially if you are holding him tight. Or you can just let him stand on his own.
As far as the products I have never heard of them. I just use a regular moisturizing shampoo and conditioner in the shower. Then I use a spray in conditioner when I comb him. I also use a spray in bath oil that I get from Petsmart. This helps keep his skin and coat moist. The spray is not oily and I love it. Sometimes in the winter months my boy gets dry skin. This oil really helps. Good Luck and let us know how it goes. :D

We'll when i am giving my boy a shower I just run the water over his face real quick and then I caress his hair back. I do it really quick and I guess he is just used to it. And of course these dogs are just little guys so I can hold him pretty firmly. I normally do this when I am holding him close in the shower. I don't use shampoo in his eye or mouth area. So its just a quick rinse. I just clean his neck and beard when I wash the rest of his body.

Gave Jasper a bath today! He wiggled and squirmed but having him in our bathtub helped. He couldnt jump over that and it made him feel good if he could just stand at the wall of the tub and put his head in my chest and let me wash him. Worked better for me too, as I could get to his underside :)...I think, tho it worked a lil better, Im still goin to buy a loop for the shower.

I am glad that Jasper liked being in the bathtub better ! My Suzi knows how to jump in and out of there. However, she is use to getting bathed in the tub.
Jasper and Suzi look very much a like! He is a very handsome boy ! :D

When giving him a bath , have you tried not rushing things .

And yes, I have tried not to rush things, but that only gives him time to freak out even more! Lol. :P
