What would you choice. I have my guys on Nutro Chicken, Rice and Oatmeal, because Piper has a sensitive stomach, and his skin drys up and itches. They are all refusing to eat it now, no matter what I try adding to make it more tasteful. What should I try? |
Personally I'd feed anything other than Nutro. Lots of reports of dog deaths. Reese is my itcher...and Reggie has a sensitive tummy...mine are eating Taste of the wild...venison/buffalo formula. They all love it...and no itchies or sensitive tummy diarhea either. |
Where can I buy that food? |
I get mine from a specialty pet place here. Here's a link to their site...you may be able to order it from them directly or you can search for retailers close to you. Taste of the Wild : Home Mine are crazy about this food...they will paw the bag when I bring it into the house. |
I would choose just about anything over Nutro. The ingredients aren't the worst but there are so many reports of illness and death from it. |
I used to feed Sasha Nutro & thought it was a pretty good food until I joined YT. Everyone on here has helped so much & when I sat down & really did some research on the food like people told me to, I found out it really isn't as good as I thought & I greatly thank everyone on this site that helped with that. Since then, I have switched Sasha over to Solid Gold & she absolutely loves it. When I was gradually changing her food over, she was actually eating around the Nutro & leaving it in the bowl which I thought was pretty funny. |
you should REALLY switch off of Nutro as many have said- so many deaths linked to that food.. And any food that anyone suggests- someone has a problem with... because honestly, not many food are scotch free of their problems. BUT that being said if i had to feed a kibble it would be Orijen or Natural Balance. |

No food is perfect and Googling will bring up the bad side of most of them. You just have to really trust the company that you choose. |
