Chloe is not feeling well I hope it's ok for me to post this here as it is about my maltese Chloe. SHe went for her shots yesterday and has not been the same since. The site of the injection is very swollen and yesterday she acted like she didn't feel well. But I didn't get really worried until this morning. She is in pain when I pick her up, she is just laying around and she is shaking a little. She can walk but doesn't want to. I felt all over her to find out where she is in pain and she has a huge lump on her midsection kinda infront of her back leg. My husband said he thinks he might have kicked her, accidentally of course, last night while sleeping. When I pick her up, she totally wretches to the side and has a fit. Maybe it's her ribs. We go to the vet at 11. Please send us some positve thoughts. I'm so worried. |
Oh, poor baby girl! I sure hope that she gets back to normal soon. |
oh poor little baby. she will be ok.. ill be thinking about her all day and will say a prayer for her also...good luck .. |
I am so sorry about Chloe and hope she feels better soon. I am glad you are taking her to see your vet. Keep us posted on how she does. :aimeeyork Schatzie sends her hugs and well wishes. |
Oh...poor little thing. What shot did she get? Sounds like a "reaction" to the shot to me. Once you know a puppy is "vaccine sensitive, I wouldn't get any more if she were my dog. Have you read the threads I have posted about vaccinations and the controversy surrounding them? I urge everyone here to become educated about the dangers of these supposedly "routine" vaccines to learn the risks and dangers that the vet doesn't inform you about. Do not take my word for it...please do your research since it is a personal decision each of us has to make. I have posted several threads recently and my new vet, www.thepetwhisperer.com does phone consultations if you want to talk to him. You might try to find a homeopathic vet in your area too who will be happy to see her and help you. I have decided not to vaccinate my pets and breeders and pet owners all over the world are makng the smae decision because the truth is...vaccines do not work. I hope she feels better very soon. :( |
Thanks guys. It makes me so sad to see her not feeling well. Kim, I had planned on posting a thread about do our dogs really need these shots. So thanks, I will do some research about it. |
