Diamond dog food We are in the process of switching Krissy to Chicken Soup from Royal Canine. The store I thought carried it by my house doesn't anymore and the other only carries a 35lb bag. The guy offered me some samples of Diamond, which he says is made by the same company as Chicken Soup. I have never heard of it. Any opinions. the ingredient list doesnt look bad, but Im not an expert :). I also feed a diamond made product, Taste of the wild, many folks on this board frown upon using diamond products because of the recall they had in 2006, however now a days there hasnt been too many dog food companies out there that havent had a recall. I havent had any issues with the food Im using, its grain free and my dogs are doing well on it. Have you tried doing a search online for more info? |
I had my golden retriever on it before all the pet food recalls started in 2006. I only fed her one bag, but by the end of the bag she had gained some serious weight. It is fairly high in fat for a kibble. I don't know how good the quality control is for that food. |
