Has anyone every heard of Cerecomp use in dogs My girl Mia had a head injury and fractured her pelvis around the 2nd week of October. She was originally treated with steroids for a mild concussion. Then she was given rimadyl for pain relief for the pelvis fracture (no treatment available for that it has to heel on its own). She has never gotten back to herself since the concussion. Today I was recommended by a vet that does homeopathic treatments to try Cerecomp and see if that helps her. Indications for the temporary relief of mental fatigue, poor memory, and forgetfulness, lack of concentration, nervousness and anxiety. She has had some of the above since her injury, and has even shown some aggressive behavior that we have never seen out of her before. Any help, suggestions, ideas or if you have any experience with the Cerecomp will be greatly appreciated. I am at a loss at this point on what to do. Thanks |
Sorry I don't know anything about it, but I hope it helps your baby. I have an older pom who has like doggy alzheimer's and the vet just but her on analipryl for a lot of the same symptoms. |
Her regular vet has said that he doesn't know of anything else to do but send her to OSU veternary school to be looked at with a possible spinal tap or CT scan. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers, I just worry about her and love her so much. I really don't know what to do. |
Sorry to hear that Mia hasn't fully recovered. I don't know anything about Cerecomp, but a lot of the symptoms that you mentioned that she is getting like agrression, fatigue and lack of concentration are all side effects of Rimadyl. Please make sure you go to the site below to find out all the side effects of Rimadyl. Then talk to your vet about what Mia is experiencing. Side Effects of Rimadyl Geng Daddi |
