We got a new 2lb bag from Sam's this weekend. Waggin Train Brand. Millie LOVES chicken jerky. And it's from CHINA. Crap! She's had loose stool of and on for months and this is what she's been eating. I am SO writing to Sam's Club. |

So if it says USDA chicken, beef, etc... does that mean the meat source is from the US? Also, does anyone know if the Wellness jerky treats meat source is from the US? Im assuming they are, but just wanted to double check... |

She's had loose stool of and on for months and this is what she's been eating. I am SO writing to Sam's Club. I know this is an older thread, but I got caught by this a few days ago. I purchased a Waggin Train product and didn't read the back until it was too late. These are distributed in the USA, but Made in China appears in very small print on the back. My dog pooped straight blood for two days because of this 'treat.' I called the company, wrote the company, contacted the store, and also made a formal complaint with the FDA (who were well aware of this horrible company). Please stay away from Waggin Train products and be cautious of other items made outside the US. |
Thank you for taking the time to report your Yorkie's reaction to the jerky and for letting the forum know. |
I also used to give Jackson the Waggin' Train until I found out it said Made in China on the bag. I found chicken jerky strips just like these at Petco in a yellow bag (around $12) and I didn't see anything anywhere on the bag that said Made in China. It didn't say where it was made... but I bought the bag since Jackson likes chicken jerky so much and we didn't have any issues. |
