lovesssss BEANS Yuki loves bean burritos....I usually just give him the beans...Just a few...is this okay? THANKS! Melissa |
I'm not for sure.. If you're talking about the burrittos from say, Taco Bell, I can imagine they'd be pretty high in fat. We don't really give our dogs any human food. They only get a couple of dog-safe treats every now and then like fruits or veggies. |
That is questionable because are the beans mixed with anything? Were they fried with anything? I think I'd skip it but beans minus the extras are fine. :) |
green beans are okay, I don't think the beans that you get in a burrito would be very good for his tummy |
Non refried beans are great. Kidney beans, black beans, pinto beans, lima beans, etc, are all very nutritious and high in fiber. The only thing I would consider is that too many beans might give your dog gas/diarrhea, again because of the high fiber content. |
THANKS...I knew something that taste so good is soooooo BAD! haha...He loves them. I must stop... Melissa THANKS FOR THE ADVISE! |
other snacks... Carrots green beans apples are these okay? In moderation of course... Any suggestions on Merrick can food? I heard it has had a couple of recalls... Just started it SHOOT! I am also giving Solid Gold for Kibbles... I guess I need to search on here for some answers! THANKS TO EVEVRYONE.... |

I don't know anything about Merrick canned food. Solid Gold is pretty good although when my dogs were on it, they had lots of soft, stinky poop. We didn't like that so we changed it. There are others who do great with it though! |
green beans(no salt) apples, never more than 2-3 pieces, found out the hard way, they will cause diarrhea. Ever had 4 dogs with diarrhea at the same time? Doesn't make for a very fun day.:( |
