Oh No! A whole bag of Cookies! Ok, We just went to Target and did a trial run of our 3 yr old rescue blocked in the kitchen. We don't have a gate tall enough (she has jumped over the baby gate we got and we need something taller ). We blocked her in with some boxes. When we got home she was out of the kitchen ... not sure how she did it!! and we noticed she had eaten a bag full of cookies that my dh left out. It was probably about 1/4 of a package of Macaroon cookies... so not chocolate... but I'm really worried about her!! Should we be worried?? Is there anything we can do so she doesn't get sick? |
Peptobismal (?) and watch out for diarehea I'm pretty sure it will be coming... maybe someone can give you better advice. |
I hope she is ok today. Hopefully the worst would be some upset tummy. Can you get her use to a crate when your gone? Sounds like she is a jumper and will get over everything. |
Today Well... last night she seemed to have a bit of an upset tummy, but nothing else. She has been really thirsty also so we have been making sure she gets enough water to flush it all out. We usually keep her in a crate when we leave, but now that the potty training is going much better we though a trial run in the kitchen would be a good idea... I guess we have to think of something else until she is more comfortable in our house. |
I hope the worst is over. Keep us informed. |
cookies. hi sounds a bit like me when i'm left alone with the cookies :D pauline & furrbies |
us too Quote:
Ah... yes... we at the first bit before we left for the store... then she finished them off for us  |
She must be fine Well, I guess her stomach is made of steel because we haven't seen any vomiting or otherwise and only noticed a bit of calmness from her after the cookies.... she is totally back to normal now. I don't think I would have done so well with so many cookies myself! |
