How do I 'adjust' onesies for Lucy after spaying? Lil' Lucy is booked in to be spayed in early January. I've read on YT that lots of you have dressed your furbabies in onesies after they've been spayed, to stop chewing / scratching. What I'm wondering is: Whereabouts do I need to cut the appropriate holes to ensure that it fastens but doesn't interfere with 'natural processes'? Has anyone got a pic? I've bought the onesies, but feel I'll end up ruining them if I just do it by trial and error. Ideas please? |

Thanks for that - it makes sense! Lx |
Stormy hasn't been spayed yet but I put her in onsies at home all the time and I use the newborn ones or premie. I just do the buttons up and like the OP said roll it up to go pee! They are great for under a sweater when you go for a walk. |
Onsies I put a little stitch on either side of the neck. Baby onsies have split shoulders to help get them over the babies heads but they kept sliding down on Bellas shoulders. So the stitch helped keep them around her neck. By the way onsies worked great after Bella was spayed just unsnapped them and rolled them up for potty time. She did not lick at her stitches once. Sure beat wearing the cone thing. :):aimeeyork |
