Innova EVO Feeding Calculator
 
I was trying to figure out how much I would have to feed Max and I found this calculator which I think is really helpful: Cat, Kitten, Puppy and Dog Feeding Guideline Calculator – Natura Pet Products . I also read you do not have to feed as much as it says to, but start at that amount and then decrease depending on how hard the stools are.

I have been trying to find the best food and am having trouble deciding between Innova and Innova EVO. From the reviews dogs that ate EVO had harder stools and since Max is really active I decided I will probably get EVO. Anyways, if anyone was looking for this here it is. Oh, and also both foods are expensive, but you don't have to feed near as much as another brand because of the richness of the food.

I have also been looking into this food. according to their website it is almost the equivilent as feed a raw food diet. :confused: My little guy seems to be allergic to poultry so i am going to try the red meat diet for him. now i am wondering if it would be safe to have the other 5 on this. I was on another website that said that alot of dogs have gained alot of weight on this food and they are already little porkers because they steel the puppy food and don't eat their adult food:confused::confused:

Well you feed like 1/4 the amount you do with any other kibble, because it is so rich in nutrients. Maybe the people don't know this and are feeding the same amount? I think you are thinking of the Innova EVO version that is the red meat one but I am talking of regular. Have you checked out their site on the ingredient list? The red meat one looks fine to me. Just be sure not to overfeed.

By the way, don't quote me on the amount you are supposed to feed because that was just a guess.

Hey that was very helpful Vanessa! I was trying to figure out how much to feed GUCCI and used the calculator to get the amount, so thank you for that. I went out and bought the regular Innova Puppy for him, the lady at the store had stated the EVO would in fact be too rich for a puppy.
