Raw Feeding? Since I have gotten Harley I have been considering raw feeding but still have a couple of reservations. The first thing is that Harley does not eat alot at one time. I know that with feeding raw it can only be left down a certain period of time and don't want to be throwing food out because he doesn't eat it quick enough. I would love to hear stories from anyone who may have made the switch to raw with a baby who doens't eat alot at one setting. Also do most people feed only raw or a combination of raw and kibble (at seperate times of course)? Jeri and Harley:aimeeyork |
Well, I can tell you that both my girls used to be very picky eaters before raw and the kibble would sit out sometimes all day. That doesn't happen anymore. You are right. If he does not eat it, just put it back in the fridge for later but usually my two are so eager to eat that it's never an issue. It does take my yorkie a bit longer to eat than my collie but they both look forward eagerly to meal times now! |
Oops and I forgot to answer your second question.... no I feed only raw. No need to feed a combination here and honestly, the kibble would just sit so it'd be a waste of my money. And finally, I do believe that raw is the best for them..... |
