I started off giving Pasquale the NB Ultra Premium variety and he loved it, BUT he was itching. Then i realized chicken was in it. So i switched him to Duck ...he hated the Duck. So then i gave him the Sweet potatoe with Venison and he absolutely LOVES it!! Pasquale never had a problem switching foods...but i always gave him a little bit of yogurt when i did switch so the probiotics could help him with his stools.

I hope nothing ever changes with NB.
Buddy has been on it for 3 1/2 yrs and has been doing well.
We use NB Organic. All natural ingrediants with no filler's.
I trust NB and Dick VanDike. Hope he means what he say's.

I recently switched Abby and Daisy to NB and so far so good. Abby scratches less and the watery eyes have completely stopped! That's a big plus! :) The bag we have now is Duck and Potatoe. I think next time we'll try the sweet potatoe and fish (is that right?)
I used to buy the big bag of Canidae, but it takes them so long to go through that big of a bag, that I worried about it getting stale. So with the smaller bags of NB, they can have more variety.

Like Brooke, I just switched A & D. No problems at all. Of course my girls seem to have an iron gut.

I switched Bailey a few weeks ago to NB Ultra Premium (4 stars on the dog food analysis chart) from Nutro Natural Choice (1 star) which is what the breeder had him on. I was shocked to learn that NB is cheaper than the Nutro! At Petco NB is 9.99 for 5 lbs. and Nutro is 13.99! Why would someone want to spend more money to feed their dog bad food? Just goes back to the old saying that what costs the most is not always the best.

Yeah, I think different variety's of NB are priced different if I remember correctly from when I went into a few Petco's a couple of weekends ago when we were out of town. Unfortunately we don't even have a Petco here :mad: (I hope they hurry up and build one soon - I HATE not having one!!) so I DO pay $13.99 for a 5 lb bag of NB :rolleyes: I get mine at a local doggie store here and that is how much they charge for a small bag.

But I do understand what you're saying....I would never in a million years pick Nutro over NB! Heck, I wouldn't pick Nutro period! That is so weird that the Nutro costs more at the bigger stores than NB is, what a rip! Oh well, that's good for US :D :D :D

When I started Buddy on NB it was $9.99 at a private family pet store
where I shop. It recently went up to $11.99 for 5lbs. They are closed
on Sun and I couldn't get there so I went to Petco on Sun and it
was $13.99 for the same bag! I thought these chain stores were suppose
to be cheaper?

Oh wow! :eek: Heck I don't know what is going on :confused: I THINK I paid $10.99 for the 5lb bag of NB Sweet Potato and Venison that I bought at Petco a few weekends ago when we were out of town...but if I remember correctly, it was on sale. I normally always feed the Potato and Duck though...and at the local doggie store that I get it from here it is $13.99 for the 5lb bag I believe.

That really is weird though...you would THINK that the chain stores WOULD be cheaper :confused:

I don't know if its just my petco...but there always seems to be some sort of sale going on there. The NB venison and sweet potato was 7.99 there. Plus i'm a P.A.L.S reward member so i'm always getting coupons in the mail.($5 dollar coupons off purchases) The last 5lb bag i bought cost me 3 bucks LoL NOW THAT'S a deal!
