which hard things to chew on? My yorkie is not too thrilled with Greenies or Booda Bones. She loves Bully Stix! What are some other hard, chew treats that are good for the teeth that I might want to try beside bully stix, greenies and rawhide? Thanks, Bonnie and Cocoa |
Hi there. I buy Cash hooves, not sure which animal, but he loves them and they last a long time. Another nice thing about them is the fact that you can fill the hole with peanut butter or Melrose. That keeps them happy for hours and hours. I really hope that helps. |
OK, I will give hooves a try. Where do you buy them? Thanks so much for your reply!!! |
I know some people have tried Antlers too with much success. I have not tried them yet though..... |
Hi. I am from South Africa, but check out this website...Chew Hooves - Pet Supplies - Compare Prices, Reviews and Buy at NexTag - Price - Review. You can try the butcher. The hooves are really cheap... like 10 for R15, that translates to about $2 for 10. Cheap cheap. And they last a long time. I hope you find them and I am sure your baby will enjoy them a lot! |
Small butcher bones. You can search for that here on YT and find a lot of threads on them. |
I just took my maltese to a board certified dentist and she said never give your dog something for chewing that if you hit your shin bone and it hurts they can break their teeth and she sees many dogs with broken teeth from bones, sticks and rocks. Also some breeds have higher content of fat in their blood already such as yorkies so do not give anything with high fat content --- no pig ears either |
Gizo likes Nyla Bones. Don't know what they are made of but we get the minty flavored ones. I have NEVER found something that was indestructable as these are. I don't have to worry with these. |
