Dry food What is the best dried food to feed my 23 weeks old yorkie? |

 I like California Natural. |

There are many GREAT foods to choose from. None of which you will be able to buy at Petsmart or Walmart. You want a food that has no bi-products or fillers. Some great brands are Wellness, California Natural, Solid Gold, Natural Balance and Orijen. These all come in a puppy formual which you should use until your pup is 1 years old! |

I've heard that Petsmart is going to start, or may have started, carrying Halo- a great food and I believe PetCo now sells wellness which is an excellent food. You can go search brands- like wellness or halo and find where they are sold near you on their websites. |

An all life stages food is fine for puppies as long as they grow while eating it (according to my vet). Mine love Timberwolf wild and natural and Merrick before grain. The Wild and Natural has ultra tiny kibble that is great for Yorkie puppies. |

Keep in mind that what works best for one person's dog may not be the best option for YOUR dog, and the best match may not always be the "top name" brands. Try out some different brands, observe the results and see what you think is working best. Be sure to swap foods gradually with your pup to avoid digestive problems (which can actually lead to infection in the intestines :(). |

thank you for all the advice |
