Kibbles N Bits?? I've been reading a lot about what food YTer's feed their yorkies and I'm feeling a little stupid...unknowledgable?? I feed my dog regular Kibbles N Bits from the grocery store. Is that bad? Is this food terrible? If it is, what should I be feeding her? |

Basically anything you can buy at a grocery store is not good. I feed Life's Abundance. it is a holistic food created by a Vet and it contains human grade ingedients. Never been on a recall list. VERY healthy and good for them. I now sell it on my website and you can even order samples if you want! Just click here: http://www.furbabytreasures.com/index.htm |

Do you have to order it online or can it be found in any stores?? |
Unfortunately Kibbles and Bits isn't one of the better dog foods out there. My best suggestion - learn to be a dog food label reader and learn what good ingredients to look for. That way you can make well informed decisions. I have fed several brands of super premium dog foods and have been dissatisfied with them all except for Canidae and since the Diamond food company is now producing Canidae, I marked that one off my list as well. |
Life's Abundance is a great food. All mine love it! You can also order it on my website wv yorkies or pm me and I will send you a sample. |
All the pet food sold at the grocery store is terrible. It is made from the waste of the human food industry, the "not fit for human consumption" by products. A good way to find a store or boutique that carries the good foods is to use the "store locator" on some of the premium food brand websites. Generally stores will carry more than one good brand. Merrick Pet Foods : merrickpetcare.com The Healthiest Pet Foods in the World – Natural & Organic Pet Food – Natura Pet Products Nature's Variety Start with those and when you find a store that carries them they can help you decide what food will work for you, give you samples, etc. The "good" brands only sell to independent stores who are more likely to be knowledgeable enough to help you. |
